Exercising or walking

Exercising is probably the last thing that comes to our mind. However, exercising is the thing that we can benefit from. Movement stimulates the production of endorphins in the brain, which instantly improve our mood. It has been shown that the effects of stress were more expressed in people who are inactive. If you cannot sleep due to worries, exercising will help you beat the insomnia.
Meditation is a proven effective, natural remedy against stress and anxiety. With its help, we can calm down and relax easily. For meditation we do not require special tools. One study showed that after meditating for 20 minutes a day for five days, the level of the stress hormone cortisol in the body is reduced.
Appropriate nutrients, such as vitamins, healthy fats, amino acids and antioxidants help the brain to effectively cope with stress. Calcium and magnesium are important for muscle relaxation. Omega-3 fatty acids are necessary for proper functioning of the brain and mood regulation. Consumption of processed foods, alcohol and caffeine aggravate the stress because they increase anxiety and worsen our mood and sleep.
Contact with the nature
A great way to relax and to clear our mind is spending time outside, in the nature, in the fresh air. If you suffer from anxiety, stress and fear, set off into the woods, in the mountains or take a walk by the sea. Escape from the urban environment and contact with the nature has a positive impact on our spirit and it raises our mood.
